Few pairings are more powerful than cannabis and choice music. Happily, combining the two couldn’t be simpler for people in Southern California. This weekend in Downtown Los Angeles, 22Red founder Shavo Odajian will rejoin his System of a Down bandmates on stage with Korn and Russian Circles for a show that was rescheduled from last year. Because the founder of 22Red, Shavo Odadjian, is the bass player for System of a Down, the brand is born from the same creative energy that spawned the band. Being a brand that honors the creative mind inside us all, 22Red is thrilled that System of a Down is touring and continuing its long legacy of artistic innovation and boundary-pushing.
The tour coincides with 22Red’s three-year anniversary on 2.22.22. After starting out in just California in 2019 with a select menu, 22Red has grown into three states and offers truly unique and top-notch flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, and hemp CBD tinctures to cannabis consumers in California, Nevada, and Arizona. They are also poised to hit the shelves of a (to be announced) premier dispensary chain in California this year and recently welcomed fellow music maven, Logan Mader of Machine Head, to the 22Red team as their new West Coast Ambassador. To celebrate the growth while fostering creativity in the community, the brand will be hosting giveaways from their Instragram@22Red on the 22nd of every month.
While you can’t smoke cannabis in public, it’s still a perfect opportunity to figure out how to combine your favorite plant with your favorite music. More details/tickets on the show can be found here, while more information on 22Red and their offerings are here.
